Bridgeport News: Firefighters Battle 2 Alarm Fire

UPDATE: The fire was thought to have started on the second floor as an electrical fire. There is NO building, renters or business insurance. 2021-04-03@12:22pm--#Bridgeport CT-- #ctfire-- Firefighters battle a 2 alarm fire in the 1100 block of Madison Avenue. A business and apartments were damage by fire and water. There were no reported injuries. The fire marshal was called in to determine the cause of the fire.

Norwalk News: Pure Fentanyl Arrest and Seizure

#Norwalk CT--On Tuesday March 30, 2021, Norwalk Police Department Special Services Division, in cooperation withBridgeport Police Department Tactical Narcotics Team arrested Sylvester Edward, aka GUMZY.On April 1, 2020, Edward engaged Norwalk Police Officers in a pursuit, which was broken off for safetyconcerns. A warrant was sought for his arrest, and granted with a bond of $100,000. Edward has eludedpolice until now.On March 30, 2021, a joint operation led Officers to Edward. Edward was taken into custody. At thetime of his arrest Edward was found to be in possession of fifty eight bags of pure fentanyl, several bagsof crack cocaine, and marijuana.
