2022-003-07@3:10pm– A manhole blew in front of Beverly Pizza shutting down Fairfield Avenue between Brewster Avenue and Gilman Street. Police initial report listed it as a gas rupture. Witnesses said they smelled gas prior to the explosion. Power is reported to be out in the area. A surge happened in the surrounding area so if you microwave is flashing 12 now you know why!
