Police UPDATE: Police UPDATE: On 7/28/2022 the Stratford Police investigated a disturbance at 57 Dover Street. The investigation led to one male subject being taken into custody. One loaded firearm was recovered at the scene.
During the incident, the victim received non-life-threatening injuries including a gunshot wound to the abdomen. He was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
At this time the investigation is ongoing. More information will Be made available tomorrow.

2022-07-28@4:30PMish– Police and EMS were called to Dover Street for a report of someone being shot. EMS transported the victim to the hospital reporting a shooting in the left abdomen. Police believe it to be either a pellet, BB, or small caliber gun and are awaiting reports back from the hospital on the projectile.
