Police UPDATE:

On March 5, 2023 at approximately 0135 hours Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center received a call regarding a pedestrian struck in the 1756 block of East Main Street and the vehicle fled the scene. The pedestrian, later identified at Jimenez, Juan was transported to Bridgeport Hospital in critical condition by American Medical Response. Next of kin was notified and brought to Bridgeport Hospital.

The Bridgeport Police Serious Crash Team arrived on scene and are in the process of investigating the incident.
