Fairfield Police said on their Facebook page: “The Fairfield Police Department, in coordination with the United States Coast Guard and other public safety partners, is currently conducting a search for a missing person in the water off Penfield Beach.
We ask the public to avoid the area and refrain from approaching responders so that search operations can continue safely and efficiently”.
