On September 18, 2026, at approximately 1100 hours, the Stratford Police Department’s Narcotic, Vice and Intelligence Unit executed a search warrant at the Infinity Smoke Shop. The Infinity smoke shop is located at 1277 West Broad Street. The NVI Unit was assisted by agents from the State of Connecticut Department of Consumer Protection. Subsequent to the execution of this search warrant, 14.263 pounds of THC/Cannabis was seized, along with $220.00 cash. Abdulwahab Alsaidi, 41 years old, was transported to the Stratford Police Department and charged with Illegal production of a Controlled Substance W/O a License, Illegal Sale of a Narcotics Substance – Cannabis/THC over 1 Kilogram, Illegal Sale of Narcotics (Kratom Schedule 1) and Illegal Operation of a Drug Factory. Abdulwahab Alsaidi was released from custody after posting a $25,000.00 bond. He was issued a September 28, 2026 court date.
