11:33pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut–A police officer on patrol on Howard Avenue heard a shot fired in the 900 block of Howard Avenue. The officer saw a car attempting to leave at a high rate of speed and was able to pull him over and take him in to custody. Witnesses told me the woman was shot in a backyard, possibly accidentally when the gun was dropped. Police quickly located a clip of 40mm caliber and a short time later retrieved the gun. I do not know where on her body the woman was shot or her condition.
