#Fairfield CT– On 06/22/2017 at 2:59pm the Fairfield Police Department responded to a robbery in progress in the parking lot of Woodfield Village Condominiums. The suspects pulled up in a vehicle while the victim was removing something from his trunk. The suspect passenger pointed what was described as a black colored .45 style, semi-automatic pistol at him and demanded the keys. The victim yelled and ducked behind his car and the suspects then fled the scene. The victim was not harmed. Officers responding to the scene located a vehicle that matched what the victim described at the scene, and conducted a traffic stop on Churchill Road near Wilson Street. In the vehicle, officers located a plastic black semi-automatic BB gun. It was later discovered that a witness observed the same suspects attempt a burglary at the First Presbyterian Church, which was later confirmed.

Geraldo Martins Coelho (DOB: 11/25/97) of Fairfield, was arrested and charged with Robbery 1 st Degree, Weapons in a Motor Vehicle, Burglary 3 rd Degree, and Larceny 6th Degree. A juvenile was also arrested in connection with the investigation.
