9:14am–#Bridgeport CT– A bridge construction worker fell from the Arctic Street bridge.  The assistant fire chief told me it took firefighters just 12 minutes from the time of arrival to bring the man up from the waterway.   He fell from metal catwalk about five to six feet onto rocks, concrete, and the waterway.  The man did not have any visible injuries but he was grimacing in pain so he may have internal injuries and was transported to the hospital.  The Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) was nearby at an incident at Bridgeport Hospital where a man fell through the hospital’s roof.  OSHA was on the scene within thirty minutes.
