Police UPDATE: This morning, shortly after 2 a.m., Raheem Lynch (DOB: 2/2/97 of 96 Chamberlain Avenue) was fatally shot just minutes after exiting Mystique, a night club at 2456 Main Street. The shooting occurred only a few doors away from the club. A friend of Lynch drove him to Saint Vincent’s Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The motive for the shooting is still unclear. 2021-11-06@1:56am–#Bridgeport CT– Police responded to the 2400 block of Main Street near Capital Avenue for a shot spotter activation but found no victim. A few minutes later they received a call about a victim arriving at St. Vincent’s Hospital with a gunshot wound. The person died as a result. Detectives are investigating.
