EMT Saves Parishioner
2028-07-28@8:20am--#Monroe CT-- An out-of-town EMT helped save a parishioner at St. Jude's Church at 700 Monroe Turnpike. The 75-year-old male went into cardiac arrest and the EMT began CPR saving the man who is awake and conscious now. Way to go!

Home Invasion Suspect Apprehended
Local police were searching for a blue Dodge Ram truck in connection with an alleged home invasion in Shelton. Bridgeport Police found the vehicle on Barnum Avenue and initiated a pursuit when the driver failed to stop. Child Shot In Monroe
A lone police car remained at Shelton Road and Osborne Lane, where 20 minutes earlier EMS had rushed a two-year-old child who had been shot. The child sustained injuries to the left side and was first taken to Bridgeport Hospital before being transported to Yale.
