12:18am--Fairfield CT-- Tonight's vehicle fire was hosted by Fairfield with a car fire on Milendale Road. The homeowners said they were home for over an hour when the fire broke out. Firefighters two blocks away were quick on the scene and prevented it from spreading to the home. There was significant smoke inside the home and garage. After extinguishing the blaze firefighters ventilated the home.

12:00am--#Bridgeport CT-- Two calls for men being assaulted. A man in the 800 block of Clinton Avenue was being chased by a woman with a machete around midnight. 11:55pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Firefighters and EMS responded to 1845 Madison Avenue for a woman passed out from carbon monoxide. When first responders arrived the woman was conscious and refused medical treatment. Firefighters had readings of 30 parts per million but had not located the source when I left the scene.
