#Trumbull Connecticut-- On Thursday, January 26th, the Trumbull Lions Club donated Pet Oxygen Masks to members of the Nichols Fire Department in Trumbull, Connecticut during their annual CPR refresher training. Firefighters recertify in CPR and Automatic External Defibrillators (AED) every year. Now, thanks to the generosity of the Trumbull Lions Club, Firefighters will have additional masks to help render aid to family pets in 2017. 9:19pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- Police on patrol locate a crash at Calhoun and Washington Street. A woman in a minvan fled the scene onto Route 8/25 near exit 2. The other driver fled on Calhoun Street. Everybody is returning to the scene now.
7:07pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- A man went in to the package store at 1818 Barnum Avenue and left the car running with the keys in it. When he returned the car was gone. Police located the tan Nissan mainly because it was driving erratically on Boston Avenue and went after it. The car went down Boston Avenue toward Chopsey Hill Road, down Exeter and onto Up Street then turned on Broadway. A lieutenant responding to the call was hit head on by the driver. It appears the driver allegedly turned into the officer as stolen car was on the wrong side of the road. The suspect was quickly apprehended. #Norwalk Connecticut--On January 26, 2017, the Special Services Division was serving multiple arrest warrants on a subject wanted for the sale of narcotics. The subject was spotted in the area of Colonial Village and fled as officers attempted to arrest him. Special Services Officers captured the individual a short time later. The preliminary investigation indicates that an officer heard the radio call of a foot pursuit and responded to the vicinity of West Cedar Street and Scribner Avenue to assist. The officer then attempted to stop a vehicle. However, the vehicle failed to yield, continuing north on Scribner Avenue in a reckless manner.
