DoingItLocal is run by Steve Krauchick. Steve has always had interest with breaking news even as an early teen, opting to listen to the Watergate hearings instead of top 40 on the radio. His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

Not Quite A Full Moon

11:45pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut--Earlier we had a naked woman on Brentwood Avenue in Fairfield.  Now we have an intoxicated male in a Hawaiian shirt walking in traffic on Park Avenue near Brooklawn Avenue and a possible jumper on the roof of a building on Colorado Avenue near Denver Court.  Full moons I've noticed are quiet it is the times leading up to them that are busiest.  The full moon will be on the 19th.

Fairfield News: Naked Woman!

UPDATE:  3/3/2017 at 6:40pm--Neighbors calling the naked woman is out walking in traffic again.  The photo and report below is from July 2016 when it was a lot warmer outside!   10:22pm--#Fairfield Connecticut-- Police responded to a naked woman walking Brentwood Avenue near Kings Highway East.  It did not appear to be drug related, possibly a special needs woman.  The female police officer showed great compassion in helping the woman.

Second annual ‘Fish Fest will take place at Harbor Yard on August 13th
