DoingItLocal is run by Steve Krauchick. Steve has always had interest with breaking news even as an early teen, opting to listen to the Watergate hearings instead of top 40 on the radio. His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

Bridgeport Detectives Seek Suspects in 2014 Home Invasion

Bridgeport, Conn. (Jan. 8, 2015) -- The Bridgeport Police robbery unit is seeking information about two males wanted in connection with a 2014 home invasion home invasion in the city. Elijah Tate, 19, and Michael Shaw 20, are wanted in connection with a home invasion out of Bridgeport. Detective Martin Heanue has active warrants for each carrying $150,000 bonds. Both Tate and Shaw are from the New Haven area and are known to frequent New Haven and West Haven.   Anyone with information about their whereabouts is asked to contact Detective Heanue at 203-581-5242 or call203-581-5201.
