11:55pm--#Fairfield CT--Firefighters are on scene at the post office on Commerce Drive for a possible overheated heater on the roof. The fire alarm and strobes were going off, called in by a passerby, no call from an alarm company.
Smoke in a business
11:45pm--#Norwalk CT--Firefighters are on scene at 208 East Avenue, Room To Grow for smoke in the building. Additional firefighters being dispatched for the investigation.

10:11pm--#Norwalk CT--Firefighters battle a ceiling fire in the laundromat at 171 Main Street. The fire was caused by a commercial grade dryer. Firefighters kept it from extending elsewhere.
Child drinks bleach
8:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--EMS and police on scene on Whittier Street for a 16 month old who may have drank bleach.
Fire displaces family
7:33pm--#Bridgeport CT--A fire in the 700 block of Arctic Street was quickly knocked down by the fire department. Damage to the apartment coupled with loss of electricity displaces the family. Red Cross assisting them.
Stolen vehicle recovered- one in custody
4:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police arrest one and recover a stolen vehicle in front of Popeye's on North Avenue. Its a red 2012 Hyundai Sonata 4 door from Fairfield.
Fire pit out of control
4:08pm--#Fairfield CT--Firefighters on the way to the 600 block of Hoyden's Hill behind a construction site where a fire pit has gotten out of control and extending to the grass area. Fairfield freighters busy today!
Smoke condition in a building
3:12pm-#Fairfield CT--Firefighters on the scene at 110 Ridge Commons where they have discovered a smoky condition inside the building.
