Drunk driver held down by bystanders
8:02pm--#Bridgeport CT--An alleged drunk driver was involved in a car accident at Pembroke and Stillman Street and he attempted to flee the scene on foot. Bystanders held the driver until police arrived on scene.
Water Main Break, Traffic Problems, No Water In Area
#Bridgeport CT--A major water main break has caused major traffic delays on North Avenue between Island Brook and River Street. Officials from Aquarion say the area will be closed to traffic, and residents off these streets will be without water while the repairs are being made. The earliest estimation for repairs is 8am Thursday morning. The road will still require repaving after that. Landmarks for the area is Popeye's Chicken to Scruples Gentlemen's Club. The club was scheduled to host their Halloween Party but it is doubtful if they will be open, so call them if plan on attending. #Bridgeport, CT – Oct. 29, 2013 – A 34-year-old woman faces assault charges after she stabbed her teen-aged son during a dispute early this morning. Officer Joshua Ortiz was called to a Jackson Avenue address on a report of an assault and spoke there with the victim and a relative of the victim. The victim stated that he was at his mother’s house on Wood Avenue earlier and she asked him to take out the garbage. A dispute happened when he stated that he would take the garbage out in the morning. The mother, Jacqueline Morris, allegedly stabbed the teen in the back. Black Rock Armed Robbery
3:30am--A person was just robbed at Ellsworth and Hansen Street. Two male suspects who displayed a gun to the victim.
Mother Stabs Son
2:21am--#Bridgeport CT--A mother stabbed her son with a knife at 118 Wood Avenue. Police initially had trouble gaining entry to the apartment but the mother did finally come to the door and admitted to the stabbing. One knife in evidence. Wounds do not sound life threatening.
Black Rock Turnpike Rollover
1:11am--#Fairfield CT--A driver veered off the side of the road going up hill in the 700 block of Black Rock Turnpike hit a guy line and hit a utility pole which flip his vehicle in the road. The deployed airbags created a smoky condition which was thought to be a fire in the vehicle. People who came out to hear what the commotion was helped the man out of the vehicle.

Shelton Fire
11:40pm--#Shelton CT-- A fire at the Avalon Apartments on Canal Street. A fire started in a bathroom on the 4th floor which extended to the third floor apartment below. Derby firefighters assisted in battling the fire.
