Reports say the kayaker is blowing a whistle but they apparently have not located him yet. Eagle One also requested and should be there before the Coast Guard. 7:35pm--UPDATE--Sounds like they located him, they called off the choppers.
#Bridgeport, CT – Sept 20, 2013 – A Hancock Avenue man faces larceny and drug charges as a result of a police investigation into a stolen scooter. On Wednesday shortly before 5 p.m., Officer Adam Roscoe responded to Benham AvenueWednesday on a report of a stolen scooter. He received a description of the moped and suspect. Then at 9:47 p.m., Roscoe learned that police had conducted a motor vehicle stop involving a scooter on Poplar Street, about a dozen blocks from the theft. He responded and encountered Sgt. James Myers and Anthony Gianpoalo interviewing a male and female. Roscoe checked the vehicle identification number on the scooter, which appeared to be freshly painted, and it matched the stolen one. Man Charged With Stabbing Co-worker With Pen (Bridgeport, CT – Sept. 20, 2013) – A 55-year-old man was arrested after he allegedly stabbed a co-worker with a pen in a dispute over potato chips. Officer Darryl Wilson responded to the Food Bazaar on Sylvan Avenue Thursday on a report of an assault. There, the victim stated that he was working in the receiving area when employees knocked over bags of chips. The victim stated he told a coworker, Sang Park, to have the employees who knocked over the chips pick them up.
