#Westport CT—Officers initiated a motor vehicle stop on a motor home that was observed travelling through a red light at the intersection of Riverside Ave and Treadwell Ave. Subsequent to the motor vehicle stop the operator admitted to having a quantity of marijuana in the vehicle. With the assistance of Westport Police Service Dog Koda officers searched the vehicle and recovered the following:

144 Pills marked (M362) identified as Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone 660 mg / 10 mg

3 bags marijuana & 2 smaller containers of marijuana (total weight 80.0g or 2.82 ounces)

Bottle of liquefied marijuana extract (total weight: 1077.0g or 2lbs 6 ounces)

3 syringes filled with the liquid marijuana

3 plastic containers of hash (total weight: 24.8g (include plastic containers) a metal marijuana grinder with residue.

Miscellaneous marijuana smoking pipes and paraphernalia.

$4,131.08 in US Currency

Arrested were the following:

 Thomas Michael Howard age 73 and  Nora Clark age 65.   Both were from Colorado.   They were both charged with:

 Possession of Narcotics CGS 21a-279a  Possession of Controlled Substance CGS 21a-279b

Possession narcotics with intent to sell CGS 21a-277a  Possession of Drug Paraphernalia CGS 21a-267

Possession of narcotics not in proper container CGS 21a-257   The operator of the vehicle Thomas Howard was issued an infraction as well for failure to obey a traffic Signal.

 Both parties were held in lieu of a $10,000.00 bond and will be arraigned in Norwalk Superior Court in the morning.
