Police needs your help
The theft happened earlier this month. The victim stated she had parked her car in the 1100 block of Park Avenue and left a wristlet purse in the vehicle. When she returned, the purse was missing. She was informed by Chase Bank that one of the cards was used on several locations. Anyone with information about the woman’s identity is asked to call Detective John Tenn at 203.581.5243.

Bridgeport transfer station holiday hours
BRIDGEPORT, CT (August 30, 2013) – In observance of Labor Day, City Hall, Margaret E. Morton Government Center and the City’s Transfer Station will be closed on Monday, September 2, and will reopen on Tuesday, September 3.
The Transfer Station will be open on Saturday, Aug. 31 from 7 a.m. to 12 noon. Trash and recycling pickups will continue as scheduled on Monday.
