Man Stabbed, Wife Slashed During Dispute
(Bridgeport, CT – Aug. 12, 2013) – A 38-year-old city man faces an attempted murder charge after stabbing an acquaintance and the acquaintance’s wife during an argument Sunday. Clivens Langlois, of 349 Kent Ave., was charged with criminal attempt at murder, first-degree assault and second-degree assault and was held on $250,000 bond. Officer Michael Cantrell responded to 319 Willow St., on Sunday at 8:40 p.m. on a report of a stabbing. He arrived to a chaotic scene and found Carlos Baez, 39, suffering from multiple stab wounds to his abdomen and his wife, Stephanie Baez, 38, with a wound to her arm.
