3:40am–#Fairfield Ct–Wake up Fairfield! Strong odor of gas in the basement of 510 Reef Road. Here come a bunch of fire trucks…..you had to go to the bathroom anyways…..

12:56am–#Bridgeport CT–A pregnant woman standing outside the Metric Bar on Cannon Street was hit in the neck by possibly a stray bullet not intended for her.   Police believe the shots came a couple hundred feet a way on Broad Street where they found a car hit by gunfire.  Witness told me the woman was hit in the neck buy the bullet, possibly grazed by the bullet.   A witness said she was sitting up in the street and alert when EMS arrived.  Additional reports confirm her injuries are not life threatening.  Initially a BOLO (Be On The Look Out) to are police departments that they were looking for a white Chevy Tahoe responsible for the shooting but the vehicle may have just been in the line of fire to witnesses and may not have been involved.  Police are investigating.

12:56am–#Bridgeport CT– A pregnant woman has been shot at Canon and Broad Street.

12:28pm–#Fairfield CT #cttraffic–Police in a brief pursuit with a motorcyclist who “test drove”  the bike and never returned it.  Went for Kings Highway to Johnson Drive.  He took off at a very high rate of speed onto I-95 northbound.  Police terminated pursuit.

10:40pm–#Seymour CT–#cttraffic–Report of a serious accident on Route 8, I did not catch an exit number but it sounds as if the highway is shutdown because EMS has been told to come up the exit ramp the wrong way.

10:06pm–#Stratford CT–Police break up a fight and have one in custody after a large fight near the field on Short Beach as people disperse after the fireworks show.

9:55pm–#Bridgeport CT–The Subway at Boston Avenue and East Main was just robbed by a short man in a red hoodie.  He fled on foot, no weapon was displayed.

9:40pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police are investigating shots fired in the 100 block of Vine Street and a man who showed up at St. Vincent’s Hospital with a gunshot wound.  A man on foot walked up to a house party and opened fire and he then walked off towards Pequonnock Street.

8:39pm–#Fairifeld CT–A landlord of one of the posh gated community at Stone Ridge Condominiums, 100 Sound Ridge Way went to check on a water problem her tenant reported.  The tenant was not found but the landlord said there was blood in every room.  Police are on scene investigating.  I won’t release the apartment number until cleared by police in case there is foul play.

#Stratford Ct–Viewer Nestor reports that a motorcycle hits car in Startford EMS  fire firefighters and police on scene.   Everyone is reported to be fine, motorcycle driver went air borne but is ok. Near Stratford Beach right across from  the airport.
