car accident at Stratford with entrapment

3:58PM–#Stratford CT– Shots fired and multiple people with gunshot wounds at 411 Barnum Avenue cut off. Car broke into the Nail Salon one person trapped under the vehicle. Police are on the scene. There appears to be 3 people with gunshot injuries. UPDATE— It appears that the initial call of shots fired was not accurate, it appears now that the car accident is in fact accurate, including the individual trapped under the vehicle. More information will come as the story develops. UPDATE– 8 wounded 2 in critical condition. There are no gunshot wounds nor shots fired of any kind.

Car Wanted in Bridgeport Now Wanted in Westport

#Bridgeport CT–On April 8th the same car was wanted in connection with a robbery on Sailor’s Lane that netted $80,000 in jewelry.

#Westport Ct. On April 8th 2013 the Westport Police Department responded to a report of a burglary
at a White Woods residence. The homeowner reported that blue color Audi occupied by two males
was seen leaving the private road as she returned home. Evidence from the residence was recovered in
another jurisdiction that links the above described vehicle to the burglary in Westport.

The vehicle has been described as bright colored blue, newer Audi, possibly an A4 model, tinted
windows and a loud muffler. Possible first three numbers on the registration plate are 177. The vehicle
pictured bellow is a similar type vehicle and model.

The Westport Police Department is asking the public that if they have any information about
the crime or vehicle information, that they are to contact the Westport Police Department
Detective Bureau at 203-341-6080.

If anyone observes a vehicle matching the description of the one used in the burglary in
Westport, immediately contact their local Police Department.

BMW wanted in Lenox Robbery Found

A short time ago, based on information relayed from a concerned citizen, we have recovered the stolen BMW related to the Lenox Jewelry robbery. It was recovered on Mill Plain Road in Fairfield, CT.

The vehicle is currently in the custody of the Fairfield Police Department and is being processed for evidence with the assistance of the Connecticut State Police Major Crime Squad.

This incident remains under investigation and involves the coordinated efforts of several law enforcement agencies including the United States Attorney’s office.

Video Report–Lenox Jeweler Owners Taken Hostage To Rob Store

10:51pm–#Farifield CT #Meriden CT–The owners of the Lenox Jewelry shop were taken hostage from their home on Gravel Street in Meriden and driven to their store located at  2379 Black Rock Turnpike where they forced the owners at gunpoint to open the shop and they proceeded to rob the store.  They then tied up the owners in the back of the store.  The fled in the owners silver 2009 BMW 528i which they apparently drove to the store in.  Police in Fairfield and neighboring towns were expecting the car to be quickly ditched nearby looking for Massachusetts plates 96NV02.  Side streets, parking lots and store parking lots from Easton to Stratford were searched but the car did not turn up.   The Merritt Parkway and other main roads were quickly covered by police looking for the car with no sightings    The owner’s firearm was also taken during the hostage/robbery .  Two other people were taken hostage in the Meriden residents and both police departments quickly shared information , finding all persons accountable. for.   Police are looking for five black males with white masks in the take over.

Lenox Jeweler Owners Taken Hostage From Meriden Drove To Fairfield To Rob Store

#Fairfield CT #Meriden CT–Owners of the Fairfield  were taken hostage from their home on Gravel Street in Meriden, driven to Fairfield by 5 men in hoodies in the owner’s  silver 2009 BMW 528i with Massachusetts plates 96NV02.  They then forced the owners to open the store at 2379 Black Rock Turnpike and then proceeded to rob the store then tying up the owners in the back.  Police are looking for the silver 2009 BMW 528i with Massachusetts plates 96NV02 possibly dumped nearby.  I’ll have a full video report shortly.
