Second suspect is a light skin Hispanic or black male approx. 5’4 wearing sunglasses and white gloves with a green hooded sweatshirt blue jeans with purple gloves hanging out of pocket and white sneakers. Fire at Pratt Street in Fairfield

[caption id="attachment_5490" align="alignleft" width="300" caption="Fire started after 2am on the first floor"][/caption] Shortly after 2am Saturday morning firefighters were called to 198 Pratt Street (Off Oldfield Rd.) for a fire, all occupants of the building had been evacuated and waiting across the street.  When the arrived they found heavy fire on the first floor and quickly went to work within minutes.  We arrived at the scene within ten minutes from the call and the fire was out and they were checking for extensions.  Assistant Fire Chief Scott Bisson told me that the mother and son were checked out by paramedics and did not require medical treatment.  They will spend the night with relatives.  Bisson said the investigation to the fires…

Congressmen can’t say ‘Merry Christmas’ in mail

Looks like the PC police have threatened members of the House of Representatives against wishing constituents a "Merry Christmas," if they want to do so in a mailing paid for with tax dollars.    Also told cannot say 'Happy New Year' but can say 'have a happy new year' – referencing the time period of a new year, but not the holiday," said a Hill staffer who requested anonymity.  Read full story....

Westport Police Update on Jeweler’s Murder

Police Chief Dale Call updated the press on the status of murder investigation of beloved jeweler Yekutiel Zeevi.  Jewelers across the region have been talking about this case and have contributed greatly into the investigation.  Call said they received many tips and video from Jewelers Row in Philadelphia when he visited three days before the Westport murder.  Police released new pictures of the suspect, with new information they report he is a thin, 5-foot 10 manin his early 40s is described as an expensive dresser and a well spoken American who knows diamonds.  They said his facial hair is more of a "couple day unshaven look" as opposed to a beard.   He fled the Compo center in a blue or gray…
