His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

#Stratford CT-- On 04/26/2022 the Stratford Police with the assistance of the Connecticut StatePolice conducted part of an ongoing investigation which led officers to the area ofShort Beach to investigate suspicious or hazardous materials. This activity waspart of a larger in progress investigation. At this time the beach is clear of policeactivity. Investigators anticipate an arrest in the incident and no further information isavailable at this time. There is no threat to the public. Bridgeport Police is about 120 officers short when officers were moving to other towns. Now retirements will continue to thin the herd with about 50 retirements by the end of summer. Only 12 officers will be graduating from the academy to replace the ranks this year.
