His interest in news spread to become the communities breaking news leader in Connecticut’s Fairfield County. He strongly believes that the public has right to know what is happening in their backyard and that government needs to be transparent. Steve also likes promoting local businesses.

Broadband Access Funding

#Washington, DC – The House of Representatives passed a spending package designed to fund large portions of the government for the next fiscal year. Included in the package was the Financial Services and General Government (FSGG) Appropriations Act, which contained $61 billion in emergency spending to expand access to broadband for underserved communities. In addition, Governor Ned Lamont announced this week that his administration is launching the Everybody Learns initiative: a $43.5 million investment in remote learning solutions to close the digital divide in Connecticut and empower students across the state to learn from home, especially as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic continues impacting the country. Bridgeport New: 2 Shot On The East Side

Police UPDATE: The shooting involved two victims who were seated in a vehicle. A female was shot multiple times and is in critical condition at Bridgeport Hospital after undergoing surgery early this morning. A male also seated in the vehicle was shot in the leg and also was treated at Bridgeport Hospital for non- life-threatening injuries.
