Bridgeport News: Bouncer Shot

2019-11-10@9:37pm--#Bridgeport CT—According to radio reports, a bouncer was shot in the stomach at the Perfections Lounge at 1603 Barnum Avenue. The shooter fled down Barnum Avenue down Elizabeth Street according to those same radio reports. Bridgeport News: Cops Called On Kids Fundraising

2019-11-30@4:44pm--UPDATE:  American Steakhouse security called cops on the fundraising kids...AGAIN.   2019-11-10@1:57pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police were called to 210 Boston Avenue because the security officer at American Steakhouse said that there were children between the ages of 5 and 8 selling fundraising candy without a permit. Since getting follow up information from spokesperson Terron Jones and Rowena White, have been impossible lately I drove up to get a follow up to the story. Westport Provides Free ProAct Prescription Drug Discount Program to Residents

Westport, CT - The Town of Westport, in conjunction with the Connecticut Conference of Municipalities (CCM), announced that it is offering residents a new way to save money on prescription medications and certain medical services through a new prescription drug savings program. The ProAct discount cards will arrive in residents’ mailboxes via the US Postal service next week.  Regardless of whether residents are currently insured, uninsured, or underinsured, they can use the cards at participating pharmacies to obtain discounts and savings on prescription medications.             The “Town of Westport Prescription Drug Discount Card” helps residents save money on their medications any time their prescription is not covered by insurance.  This card will provide immediate fiscal relief at the pharmacy counter…
