Bridgeport News: Suspicious Death
#Bridgeport CT--On March 21, 2023, at approximately 10:15am the Bridgeport Emergency Operations Center received reports of suspicious activity in the area of North Avenue & Clinton Avenue. Responding Patrol Officers canvassed the area on foot and ultimately located an unresponsive male laying inside a garage within the 900 block of Clinton Avenue. Medical personnel responded and pronounced the person deceased. The deceased man appears to be homeless and has not yet been identified. Injuries to his body are suspicious. The Patrol Division requested the Detective Bureau respond to the scene. The Detective Bureau has taken charge of the investigation with the Identification Unit currently processing the scene. Bridgeport News: Shed Fire Part II
2023-03-21@1:07pm--#Bridgeport CT-- #ctfire-- Firefighters were called to a shed fire located on Wayne Street but closer to and facing Madison Avenue near Perth Street. The fire was due to improperly stored chemicals. This is the second time within a year firefighters were called to this address for the same reason.

Bridgeport CT– Felon Threatens DCF With Firearm
#Bridgeport CT--A 26-year-old Bridgeport man was arrested Friday afternoon after he threatened a security guard with a gun at the State Department of Children and Families offices in downtown Bridgeport. At approximately 2:30 p.m., officers were dispatched to 100 Fairfield Ave. on a report of a man smoking marijuana in the building, and then threatening a security guard with a gun after he was ordered to leave. Several minutes later, that suspect, Earl Livingston Williams, 26yrs of age from Bridgeport, was located at the corner of Main St. and John St. He was found in possession of what turned out to be a stolen firearm, and was taken into custody Williams is a convicted felon and is on probation.
