Last year, Kevin Burwell launched Operation Comfort Critter to provide critters of comfort when AMR responds to a call dealing with a child, whether it be a child being transported or a child of a family member that is being transported to the hospital. This year, Keven got a lot of help from Troop 166 from Easton's Samuel Staples Elementary School. Police/Fire UPDATE: On October 30, 2019 at approximately 9:30 pm, Bridgeport Patrol Officers responded to a serious motor vehicle crash at 1415/1417 Boston Avenue, Bridgeport, Connecticut. This was a single car motor vehicle accident involving a 35 year old Bridgeport man operation a 1998 Honda Civic. The vehicle was travelling northbound on Central Avenue, accelerating at a high rate of speed, when it crossed the intersection of Boston Avenue and Central Avenue and left the roadway. The vehicle continued north, mounted the sidewalk, struck the south east corner of the house located at 1417 Boston Avenue, travelled along the east side of the residence, and subsequently crashed into a porch located at the rear of this location. 2019-10-29@5:22pm--#Bridgeport Ct-- #Stratford CT-- #cttraffic-- I-95 northbound near exit 30 is shutdown due to an accident involving a tractor trailer. Three people are pinned in cars requiring firefighters to extricate them. On ramps to I-95 is being shutdown by Bridgeport Police.
Bridgeport Police UPDATE: According to police reports, at approximately 2200hrs on 10/28/19, police ran the plates of a Acura TL that was suspected stolen. After running the plates through the database, the car was confirmed to be stolen. Police then attempted to stop the vehicle that was occupied with 5 passengers. The vehicle refused to stop. Police were then lead into a brief pursuit cover 4-5 street but end on Laurel Ave in a motor vehicle accident when the suspect ran the stolen vehicle into the passenger side of the police vehicle.
