Bridgeport News: Illegal Guns Seized
5:00AMish--#Bridgeport CT-- Around 5am this morning State Police Gang Task Force carried out a undercover investigation which netted several illegal handguns at 1335 Park Avenue. One of those guns, a 9mm handgun had the serial number had been filed off. Police said there have been more murders this year than all of 2016 and they are hopeful that getting these guns off the street will help make a difference. Police said convicted felons Larry Jackson and Reginal Chavis were arrested.

9:39pm--#Bridgeport CT--Police are investigating two shooting incidents. The first happened on East Washington Avenue at Catherine Street. A car drove up and fired at four males who reportedly returned fire. There was no one or anything reported hit.
