12:55pm--#Bridgeport Connecticut-- A person was transported to St. Vincent's Hospital after a rollover accident on North Avenue between Norman and Park Avenue. The southbound lane was temporarily closed.

#Bridgeport, CT – In anticipation of the pending winter storm expected to impact Bridgeport beginning early tomorrow morning, sanitation and recycling pickup has been postponed for Friday, March 10, 2017 to Saturday, March 11, 2017. The Transfer Station located on 475 Asylum Street will also be closed tomorrow, and will reopen on Saturday from 7:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The Bridgeport Emergency Operation Center (EOC) continues to monitor the approaching storm that is anticipated to bring with it snow accumulations of 3 to 5 inches. 1:10am--#Bridgeport Connecticut--Firefighters were called to a structure fire at 57 Carver Street. Firefighters found heavy fire in the rear of the home on the second floor. They had the bulk of the fire knocked down within fifteen minutes and chased hot spots for another fifteen minutes. There was no word on any injuries. Fire marshal was called in to investigate the cause of the fire.
