Bridgeport News: Domestic Fight Cop Hurt

UPDATE: Suspect in custody and firearm recovered.   Pepper spray used, EMS on the way for the suspect and one officer that received some spray.

9:17pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Police and A&E’s Live PD on the way to Madison Avenue at Harral Avenue for a domestic fight between a daughter and father.  The father allegedly has an unregistered 9mm gun in his waistband.

Brush Fires

4:22pm–#Fairfield Connecticut–#Bridgeport Connecticut– Firefighters were busy with brush fires.  Fairfield firefighters were at Greenfield Street across the street from Kohl’s for a brush fire.  They were also called to the swamp area at Lake Mohegan but were quickly recalled.  Earlier Bridgeport Firefighters extinguished a mulch fire on Barnum Dyke Road.

 

Bridgeport Trumbull News: Pursuit After Alleged Bank Fraud

5:05pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– #Trumbull Connecticut– An employee at the TD Bank at 4865 Main Street Bridgeport flagged down a police officer outside the bank which turned out to be a Trumbull Police Officer on a traffic stop.  Someone inside the bank was attempting to commit fraud.  The officer gave chase and the suspect fled into a white BMW with New York plates north on Main Street.  The officer lost sight of him.  Bridgeport Police located him on Route 8/25 southbound in heavy traffic.  They were able to bring the car safely to a stop at the split of I-95 north/southbound.  They have four people in custody.

Bridgeport News: Street Robbery

12:39pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– A street robbery reported in front of 1661 East Main Street.  A man was robbed of his cellphone and cash by two males.  No weapon was shown.  Police are looking for a heavy set black male wearing a red and gray shirt and a Hispanic male wearing a black shirt.

Bridgeport News: Kids Injured In Bus Accident

4:31pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– An accident involving a school bus at 510 Barnum Avenue.  EMS were turned away earlier but now some of he children are reporting the are injured.  EMS going back to the scene.  No word on where the bus is from.
