Bridgeport News: Stolen Car Crashes (Video Report)
#Bridgeport CT--Just before midnight police located a stolen Hyundai on Fairfield Avenue and attempted pull it over. The car gave chase turning off on Ellsworth Street then dumping off a female passenger near Waldorf Avenue. She landed on her face and received facial injuries but refused medical treatment. Police have her in custody. The car crashed in the wooded dead end area of Brewster Street. K-9 from Norwalk was called in but the driver still remains at large. Police looked through the car for evidence. Firefighters stood by in case the spilled gasoline might have ignited and remained to contain and clean up the gasoline spill. He was shot in the leg and transported to Bridgeport Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Earlier tonight an innocent bystander was shot by two males at Shelton and Kossuth Street matching the description of this shooting. Missing Easton Couple Investigation Turns To Bridgeport
4:50pm--#Bridgeport CT--#Easton CT-- State Police confirmed what my sources have told me, the state police major crimes truck is on Aldine Avenue. Sources tell me the house is owned by the couple and a brother was living in their in the past but has not been seen in a couple of weeks as well. Jeffrey and Jeannette Navin were reported missing Aug. 7 to the Easton Police Department, and being investigated by the State Police Western District Crime Squad.
