8amish--#Bridgeport CT--Police spokesman William Kaempffer confirmed an armed man was taken into custody near the Duchess Restaurant on Boston Avenue. Kaempffer could not confirm a report I received that the man was on his way to guard the recruiting station nearby. The man had in his possession a shotgun, a handgun and a knife. Citizens and militia have been protecting and guarding recruiting offices since the shooting in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
