Bridgeport News: Veg-O-Matic Shooting

7:11pm--#Bridgeport CT--  A man called for EMS that he cut his hand while slicing vegetables.  Turns out he was shot in the hand.  The incident took place on benches on Canon Street.  Police told me the recovered  the firearm.   Detectives are on scene investigating. #Fairfield CT--Dispatchers at Fairfield Police Department doing some heroic things  with back to back calls this morning.  First they are giving over the phone instructions for CPR until fire, police and EMS arrive.    Now they are coordinating information with a mom, the police and her lost child at a marathon race in town.  The child has been located.  I probably won't know the outcome of the person having the heart attack.  What I do know is that dispatchers do this daily without much recognition.  We are blessed to have great professionals not just in Fairfield but in our entire area.  How about some likes to show your appreciation!

Bridgeport News: 63 Pets Removed From Goddard Ave. Home

#Bridgeport CT-- Earlier this week police were called to a Goddard Avenue home for a person deceased in the home.  Police had discovered a large amount of animals in the home and removed 12 pets, dogs and cats from the home.  Today they returned with detectives, DCF and Animal Control and removed another 63 pets, dogs and cats from the home.  They also brought the remaining resident to the hospital for evaluation.  I intentionally left the house number out of the report for privacy of the resident.   This report sponsored by:

Milford News: Fire Systems Prevent CT Post Mall Fire

11:30pm--#Milford CT--Firefighters were called to an activated fire alarm at the Connecticut Post Mall at 1201 Boston Post Road.  The first alarm they discovered at a store at called Route 21, a water flow alarm.  Firefighters discovered the sprinkler system was activated.  After further investigation they discovered there was a stove fire at Carrabba's which caused the sprinkler systems to activate and put out the fire.   This report sponsored by:
