Bridgeport News: Fire Strikes Remington Arms….Again
#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters from surrounding town assisted Bridgeport Firefighters in attacking the quarterly blaze at the Remington Buildings on Barnum Avenue. Viewers from as far away as Ansonia reported to be able to see the smoke. Firefighters had the majority of the fire knocked down before 1pm but shortly after the fire had jumped to a multi-family home at 101 Helen Street. Firefighters from Stratford Fairfield assisted in putting that one out. The fire is suspicious and the fire marshal was quickly called to the scene.
