9:45pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters at 534 East Washington Avenue for an apartment fire.  Firefighters put out a fire on the second floor and they are now checking for hotspots.  Fire marshal requested to the scene. Norwalk News: Firewood Pile on Fire

9:40pm--Firefighters on the way to 128 West Norwalk Road for the firewood pile on fire.  The pile is about 10 feet from the house, the homeowner is attempting to put it out with a garden hose. This report made possible by: Bomberos en el camino a la 128 West Norwalk, Valla en la pila de leña sobre el fuego. Two Men Arrested on Drug Charges on Sixth Street

#Bridgeport, CT – Nov. 18, 2014  Bridgeport Police Press Release – Police arrested two men on drug charges after receiving information about males loitering on a porch on Sixth Street in the East End. Bridgeport Sgt. Jason Amato, assigned to the Statewide Urban Violence Cooperative Crime Control Task Force, said the unit has been focusing on the East End and identified areas with the highest illegal drug activity and violence. Sixth Street is on the list. Amato and Officers Fabio Pereira and Everton Walker and Detective James Borrico are assigned to the task force from Bridgeport. Bridgeport Firefighters Rescue Two From Inferno

Video Report:  10:02pm--#Bridgeport CT--Firefighters rescue two people trapped in a house fire at 214 Bennett Street in Black Rock.   When firefighters arrived they were aware of two elderly people trapped on the second floor.  The firefighters quickly gained entry and rescued the two victims.  Assistant Fire Chief Christopher Martin told me their injuries did not appear to be life threatening.  About twenty minutes later the firefighters had the bulk of the fire knocked down and spent about another hour knocking down hot spots.  The majority of the fire was in the back of the house on the second floor and attic area.  The fire marshal was quickly called to the scene to investigate the source of the fire. Bridgeport News: Gas Leak Due to Larceny

7:02pm--#Bridgeport CT-- Police along with firefighters dispatched to the 500 block of Garfield Avenue for a gas leak.  The leak is apparently due to theft of copper pipes in the basement causing flooding and a gas leak in the basement.  Gas company is on scene as well.
