(Bridgeport, CT – May 10, 2014) — Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect who held up a Webster Bank this morning.
The incident happened today shortly after 10 a.m. at the branch at 3546 Main St. The suspect appeared to be accompanied by two other males who also were wearing masks.
The suspect brandished a handgun and was last seen fleeing in a gold-colored sports utility vehicle.

8:35pm–#Bridgeport CT–A man was just robbed of his bicycle on Norman Street by two men.

6:22pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police on the way to Beardsley Park on the East Main Street side where someone has found a lost 4 year old child.

 A 26-year-old man was shot in the chest on Logan Street this morning.  The victim, identified as Jamal Wiggins, was shot in front of 423 Logon St.  He was taken by private vehicle to Bridgeport Hospital, where he remains in critical condition. According to witnesses, he was with a group of people in front of the home when two shooters began firing from across the street. The evidence supports that story and also indicates that at least one person from the group with Wiggins returned fire. Detectives responded and processed the crime scene. 1:47am–#Bridgeport CT– First report of child labor for Mother’s Day at 455 Trumbull Avenue on the 7th floor.  Congratulations and Happy Mother’s Day!

11:23pm–#Bridgeport CT–Police on scene where an elderly man was beat up and robbed outside George’s Cafe at 890 Iranistan Avenue.  Responsible are two Hispanic males who fled on foot down Iranistan Avenue.  The man’s wallet, phone and credit cards were taken.  EMS on the way, reports say he was beaten pretty good.
