Fairfield News: Medical Condition Causes Man’s Life Not Drowning
7:27pm--7/27/2016 #Fairfield Connecticut--A 68 year old man went for a walk just in Long Island Sound outside his home in the 1700 block of Fairfield Beach Road like often does before dinner. A short time later a passerby found the man face down in the shallow water and called 911. It was first thought the man had drowned but police told me he suffered a medical condition and he had passed from the condition. Police have not released his name.

Fairfield News: Possible Drowning
7:27pm--#Fairfield Connecticut-- A passerby found a person face down in the water in the 1700 block of Fairfield Beach Road. Prayers needed as it was reported the person was unresponsive and not breathing as first responders continue working on the victim. One firefighter on the way with EMS to the hospital according to radio reports.

8:26pm--#Fairfield Connecticut--Another tree has come down, this time at Range and Flintlock Road. When I was at the incident at High and Jennings Road that trapped three in a car Assistant Fire Chief George Gomola told me it was the hot dry weather that is causing this to happen and on weak and damaged trees. Fairfield News: Tree Limb With Power Lines Traps 3 In Car
7:11pm--#Fairfield Connecticut-- 3 residents from Sport Hill Road Parkway in Easton had quite the surprise when the stopped at a stop sign at High Street and Jennings Road and a very large tree limb crashed onto their car. The limb took down a power line from a house trapping them inside. Firefighters are stationed a half block away and was on the scene right away. Assistant Fire Chief told me that one of the firefighters is an electrician and was able to determine that the new power line was was intact and insulated and it was safe to remove the occupants. Fairfield News: Water Rescue As Boat Runs Aground
5:22pm--#Fairfield Connecticut--Firefighters were called for a water rescue first at reef near the South Benson Boat Marina at 471 Turney Road. Firefighters thoroughly checked the area and found no boats on the reef. A short time later firefighters received a call from Sea Tow, a private boat rescue company was out with the boat at "Sunken Island" at the end of Fairfield Beach Road. A nearby homeowner told me this was only the second large boat he has know to get caught up and that they had to be from out of the area, it turns out the were from New York.
