Fairfield News: Fire at Warde High School
2:50pm--#Ctfire--Fairfield CT--Firefighters were on scene for a activated fire alarm in the Fitts Tunnel underneath the school. The school day was over but it was evacuated by those with after school programs when firifghters arrived. Firefighters discovered smoke in the tunnel and quickly called for additional firefighters to the scene. It turned out to be motor that caught fire and was quickly extinguished it.
