12:42pm--#Fairfield CT--Fairfield Police were called to North Strafield School at 190 Putting Green Road for a Hispanic male who was on school property talking on his cellphone. The students outside were brought inside. The custodian approached the man and asked him to leave and he did. The man said he was working at a construction site down the road. After investigating police told radio dispatch to call Mrs. Jackson the principal at the school that everything was ok. Should I have reported this? It is really a non-story but parents get upset not knowing. Caller told police threats were made to several employees over the phone to many employees including the chairman. The Fairfield Public Library System, which is comprised of the Fairfield Main Library and the Fairfield Woods Branch Library, has partnered with Pequot Library to provide Fairfield Public Library Cards at Pequot Library. VIDEO report: #Fairfield CT--Fairfield Police, MTA Police and Amtrack are investigating a person being hit and killed on the northbound tracks at Fairfield Train Station. Chief of Police Gary MacNamara says he thinks it was an accident, that the man appeared the man was trying to get off the track and climb up to the platform when he was hit. The accident occurred just after strong storms hit the area around 6:30pm.
