Fairfield News: Fire at the Seagrape
4:45am--#Fairfield CT-- The alarm at the Inn at Fairfield Beach sounded first at 4:45am and the Seagrape's alarm sounded two minutes later at 4:47am on Reef Road. Fairfield firefighters were quick on scene and reported smoke in the back of the Seagrape. They quickly called for more firefighters and called for mutual aid from Westport and Bridgeport to cover their empty firehouses. It was hard to determine the extent of the damage but the Seagrape was filled with smoke and firefighters were seen in the back of the cafe as first reported.
