[Fairfield, CT, October 29, 2014] Dr. Richard Frank will discuss his book “Fighting Cancer with Knowledge and Hope: A Guides for Patients, Families and Health Care Providers on Tuesday, November 18 at the Fairfield Public Library. The discussion will be held in the Memorial Room of the Main Library, 1080 Old Post Road at 7 pm. Dr. Frank is a hematologist/oncologist and will discuss his book and cancers that affect men. He is the Director of Cancer Research at Norwalk Hospital’s Whittingham Cancer Center and Medical Director of the Mid-Fairfield Hospice in Wilton, CT. Fairfield News: Fire at the Seagrape

4:45am--#Fairfield CT-- The alarm at the Inn at Fairfield Beach sounded first at 4:45am  and the Seagrape's alarm sounded two minutes later at 4:47am on Reef Road.  Fairfield firefighters were quick on scene and reported smoke in the back of the Seagrape.  They quickly called for more firefighters and called for mutual aid from Westport and Bridgeport to cover their empty firehouses.  It was hard to determine the extent of the damage but the Seagrape was filled with smoke and firefighters were seen in the back of the cafe as first reported.  Firefighters were o scene for about an hour before recalling the alarm of fire.  Firefighters were not sure what caused the fire and the Fire Marshal was on…

You will learn to stain, sand, mod podge and put together a beautiful sign for Thanksgiving. This craft could get messy, so dress accordingly. The craft salon is for people 18 years and older. 11:44pm--#Fairfield CT--I guess someone can't pay the bill because the fire alarm has been pulled at the Seagrape in the bar area on Reef Road.  Here come a bunch of firetrucks and police. Supongo que alguien no puede pagar la factura porque la alarma de incendios se ha tirado en el Seagrape en la zona del bar en el filón Road. Fairfield News: Fire at Warde High School

2:50pm--#Ctfire--Fairfield CT--Firefighters were on scene for a activated fire alarm in the Fitts Tunnel underneath the school.  The school day was over but it was evacuated by those with after school programs when firifghters arrived.   Firefighters discovered smoke in the tunnel and quickly called for additional firefighters to the scene.  It turned out to be motor that caught fire and was quickly extinguished it.  Firefighters ventilated the tunnel and left the around 3:30pm.
