11:23pm--#Fairfield CT-- A worker at the Citgo station on the Post Road cut his/her finger on the meat slicer. EMS on the way.
10:04pm--#Fairfield CT--Police are looking for a Hispanic male trying to break in to a car on Westbrook Place (off Stratfield Road). Police have a perimeter set up and K-9 is tracking.
12:33am--Fairfield CT-- There was an attempted break in at Wilson's Barbecue on the Post Road. The back door was forced but the cash register was intact.
12:11am--Bless our police officers, they never know what call they will get next. They were just dispatched for someone complaining about people making outside making noise in the snow. I'm not even going to mention the street....
6:10pm--#Fairfield CT-- First responders have been busy with two back to back crashes. The first was a single vehicle crash into a utility pole at Westport Turnpike at Treasure Road. The second crash happened moments later at New England Avenue at Meadow Street in front of Ganim's Garden Supply between an SUV and a Optimum Installation Truck. The driver of the SUV along with 2 children and one infant were shaken up from the crash. A second ambulance was dispatched to the scene. Witnesses told me the truck crossed New Meadow Street into the SUV which had no stop sign. Police are investigating.

11:29am--#Fairfield CT-- The homeowner of a home on 360 Surrey Lane reports that their home was struck by lightning, and a tree has fallen onto it. Firefighters are on scene reporting a severely compromised tree has fallen onto the garage, and no injuries.
3:53pm--#Fairfield CT-- #Southport CT-- Report of a school bus accident in the parking lot of Eagle Hill School, 214 main street.
7:30pm--#Fairfield CT-- One in custody after a brief search for a driver that was seen driving reckless driving in the Tunxis Hill Road area. The driver also cut across an alley way hitting Tunxis Hill Package Store at 143 Tunxis Hill Road and then sped off. It took about 20 minutes before police apprehended him.
