Stratford EMS Ceremony

#Stratford CT--Saturday the Stratford EMS conducted an Honor Guard Graduation, Remembrance Ceremony plaque dedication,and new ambulance dedication.  Graduating was -Volunteer EMT, Lauren Botsford, -Volunteer EMT/Supervisor, Scott Burton. Volunteer EMT, Kevin Callahan - Lt Commander, Volunteer EMT, Tom Hallas, -Volunteer EMT/Supervisor, Chris Mancini - Sergeant-Volunteer EMT, Jeff Shaw.   Paramedic, Mike Paoletto (Honor Guard Commander) orchestrated the event with his cadets. Administrator Kevin Giasullo "MC'd" the event. Director Michael Loiz gave the memorial plaque dedication and Mayor John Harkins participated in "jacketing" the new graduates with their new Class-A jacket. There were several local dignitaries present including Rep. Sredzinski, Rep. McGorty and Rep. Hoydick including other regional EMS and Public Safety service chiefs and representation. I-95 Pursuit

UPDATE: Fairfield Police hit him with stop sticks and he hit a barrier and a state trooper.  Ambulance dispatched for the trooper. 12:22am--#cttraffic--#Stratford CT-- Stratford Police in pursuit of a car on I-95 that went southbound, got off exit 24 in Fairfield, got back on I-95 northbound now exiting exit 27 in Bridgeport now on 95 south again.

On October 1, 2015 the Stratford Police Department was contacted regarding allegations of inappropriate conduct by an adult female and a juvenile victim. The report alleged the suspect was a teacher’s aide with the Stratford School District. This information was later confirmed. As a result of the investigation Stratford Police detectives arrested 46 year-old Kyle Damato-Kushel in connection with this investigation. Damato-Kushel turned herself into Stratford Police on December 8, 2015. Damato-Kushel was released on a $50,000 court set bond. She is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court on December 21, 2015.
