12:04am--#Stratford Connecticut-- #Bridgeport Connecticut-- Bridgeport Police 911 Dispatch received a 911 call from a man who was robbed and stabbed. It was thought the caller, the man stabbed said 88 Karen Court along with the building and apartment number. There was no building/apartment number with that combination at the Karen Court complex. Police went door to door but found no one. They thought maybe it could be at Success Village and started going through combinations there. At the same time the phone was being pinged. At the same time the ping went through officer had already deducted it could be Canaan Court in Stratford which it was. Bridgeport Fire was already dispatched just in case a force entry was needed…
On 12-15- 2016 Daniel MacDaniel age 37 of Stratford was arrested for weapons charges following a joint investigation by Stratford Police and ATF. MacDaniel who resides at 338 Jackson Avenue was suspected of possessing a stolen handgun which was reported out of Higganum CT in November of this year. After conducting and investigation Stratford Detectives were able to obtain a search warrant for the residence. At the time the warrant was served MacDaniel was found to be in possession of the stolen handgun as well as a sawed off shotgun. MacDaniel who is also a convicted felon is not allowed to possess a firearm. MacDaniel who rented a room at the residence was charged with the below crimes. He was…

This year, the ceremony, held simultaneously across the country at more than 1,000 locations, will be on Saturday, Dec. 17, 2016. The goal: to place a live, balsam fir wreath at the headstone of every veteran buried there and say each person’s name, so their memory lives on. #Stratford Connecticut--On December 6, 2017 investigators from the Narcotics Vice and Intelligence Unit completed an investigation into alleged cocaine sales in local bars. The investigation led to an arrest warrant for Evaristo Castro, age 56 of Bridgeport as well as a search warrant for Castro’s home at 295 Putnam Street (apt 1). Castro was taken into custody during a traffic stop and the search warrant executed immediately thereafter with the assistance of the Bridgeport Police Department.
