The GirlCode women empowerment group. On Sunday August 21st from 3-7pm we are having a tea party event in Stratford,Ct @ Paradise Green Park. A Event Bringing women together to Motivate, Inspire, and Network. Vendors will be present and speakers! Light refreshments will be served. We will share awareness information. A Day All Women Can Come Out And Enjoy An Empowering Setting.

Bridgeport News: Pursuit Ends In Police Involved Shooting

6:41pm–#Bridgeport Connecticut– A pursuit for an alleged stolen vehicle that started near Granfield/Palisades Avenue area wound its way on Boston Avenue into Stratford ending at the dead end street of Seymour Street. Radio reports indicate a shot was fired from police when she tried to ram the police car and either a bullet fragment or glass fragment entered the woman. Chief AJ Perez reminded me that he cannot comment and protocol is that state police take over the investigation and he cannot comment. The woman’s injuries do no appear to be life threatening.

 

Stratford PD Needs Your Help IDing This Man

#Stratford Connecticut–On 6-10-2016 at 11:20 am suspect used fraudulent debit card to purchase $300 worth of gift cards at 99 Restaurant, Stratford. The suspect is a black male, approximately 5′-10″ tall, and weighs 260 to 280 lbs. He has a shoulder length black hair (possibly braided),  dark facial hair with a goatee.  The goatee is approximately 2 ” long and comes to a point.  He is wearing a dark baseball hat, long sleeve shirt, dark long pants.  Anyone with information can contact Detective Gallagher at 203-385-4121

 

 

 

Stratford – Bridgeport News: Gunshot Victim

‪#‎Stratford‬ Connecticut- On 07-25- 2016 at approximately 10pm there was a shooting incident on Burritt Avenue in Stratford. During the incident which involved two SUV’s an unidentified black male exited one vehicle and fired approximately two rounds at the other vehicle. The victim vehicle struck a parked car prior to all involved parties fleeing the scene. Investigators interviewed a person of interest at Bridgeport Hospital but that person was uncooperative and would not speak with officers. At this time the incident is still under investigation. If anyone has information concerning this incident please call the Stratford Police Investigative Division at 203-385- 4119 or 4123.

UPDATE: Stratford Police are looking for a Gray Nissan responsible for the shooting on Burritt Avenue.

 

10:34pm–#Stratford Connecticut– #Bridgeport Connecticut– A gun shot victim showed up to Bridgeport Hospital in a private victim.  It is believed to have taken place in Stratford but it has not been confirmed.

FedEx Employee Delivers Himself To Cops

On 07-05- 2016 Alexander Perez age 40 of Waterbury surrendered himself to Stratford Officers as a result of a warrant issued for his arrest. Perez who was employed by FedEx allegedly took several boxes intended for FEDEX customers that had been accidentally dropped off at UPS. Rather than deliver the boxes Perez removed the items from the boxes and discarded the shipping containers. The boxes contained display screens for computers and GPS units valued at approximately $4200 dollars. The theft occurred on 05-04- 2016. Perez was charged with Larceny 3 rd and is scheduled to appear in Bridgeport Court on 07- 15-2016.
