9:00pm–#Bridgeport CT– #Stratford CT– A man was hit on the head at Larkin Court in Stratford, brought to the 600 block of Bishop Avenue for a robbery/home invasion and the victim was stabbed in the side.  Police are on scene at both locations investigating.

 

 

1:03pm–#Stratford CT– Today’s 2nd car fire is being hosted by Stratford on Burma/Great Meadow Road near the marsh outside the airport.

8:33pm–#Stratford CT–Firefighters on scene at Stratford Academy at 719 Birdseye St where a stage curtain “burned up quite a bit” according to radio reports but is now just smoldering.  Firefighters now assisting in ventilating the building.  Fire marshal called to the scene to investigate.

11:42am–#Stratford CT– A washer/dryer fire at  110 Wiebe Ave.  Firefighters arriving on scene reporting nothing showing and are investigating.

1:50pm–#Stratford CT– 55 Browning Street, a business complex has been evacuated due to a natural gas leak.  Firefighters are metering and the gas company has been called to the scene.

5:53pm–#Stratford CT–Firefighters on the way to 330 Nutmeg Lane for an oven explosion after the smell of gas according to radio reports.  Firefighters arriving seeing nothing on arrival to the street.
