1:03pm–#Stratford CT– Today’s 2nd car fire is being hosted by Stratford on Burma/Great Meadow Road near the marsh outside the airport.

8:33pm–#Stratford CT–Firefighters on scene at Stratford Academy at 719 Birdseye St where a stage curtain “burned up quite a bit” according to radio reports but is now just smoldering.  Firefighters now assisting in ventilating the building.  Fire marshal called to the scene to investigate.

11:42am–#Stratford CT– A washer/dryer fire at  110 Wiebe Ave.  Firefighters arriving on scene reporting nothing showing and are investigating.

1:50pm–#Stratford CT– 55 Browning Street, a business complex has been evacuated due to a natural gas leak.  Firefighters are metering and the gas company has been called to the scene.
