Bridgeport, Conn. (October 27, 2015 Press Release) -- The Bridgeport Police Department announced an investigation into a residence with multiple marijuana plants. On October 25,, 2015 at around 4:35 p.m., the Bridgeport Police Department received a call about a reported burglary in progress at a residence on Reservoir Ave. near the corner of Victory Ave. Upon arrival, police officers found a side door at the residence that appeared to have been forced open. Police officers believed the burglary suspect was inside the residence and conducted a search of the premises. (October 26, 2015 Press Release) – Te Bridgeport Police Department reported the arrest of a woman -- Shontaizjah Fleming (01/12/92) -- on several charges related to criminal possession of a firearm and marijuana. More specifically, Fleming was charged with: possession of carrying a pistol without a permit, criminal possession of a firearm, theft of a firearm, possession of a dangerous weapon, possession of a weapon in a motor vehicle, and possession of marijuana.
