2:22am--#Bridgeport CT--A person was robbed at gunpoint by two Hispanic males with hoddies covering their face on Pembroke Street near Jane and Shelton Street. The victim was robbed of their phone and cash. Bridgeport Police Arrest Man Who Fled Police

Here is ANOTHER story we reported to you LIVE as it was happening: #Bridgeport, CT – Aug. 20, 2014 – A Stamford man was arrested Monday night after fleeing police. Officer Mark Martocchio attempted to pull over a vehicle on North Avenue but the driver sped off. He lost sight of the car but witnesses, as the officer passed, indicated that the motorist had entered Route 8/25 southbound. Martocchio followed at a distance and called in locations to dispatchers. The suspect exited Interstate 95 on East Main Street. He later jumped out of the car and ran into an apartment in Marina Village. Lt. Brett Hyman took him into custody there after the suspect, identified as Christopher Ruffin, 42, of Stamford, threw a flat-screen television at…

We reported this to you LIVE as it was happening last night: #Bridgeport, CT – Aug. 20, 2014 – A city man faces arson charges following a fire at 1810 Stratford Ave.The fire department responded this morning just after 2 a.m. on a report of a structure fire. Police arrived and spoke with firefighters and witnesses. A relative of the suspect told police that the suspect came to the residence and discovered his video game system was missing. He broke a television and then lit a garbage bag on fire. Police responded and received a description of the suspect. An officer observed him walking on Arctic Street and detained him. They have just arrived on scene, reporting there is nothing visible from the street but an alarm is going off. They are checking it out, now reporting there was a fire on the third floor, the sprinklers went off and flooded the second floor.
